COURSE PREVIEW
ABOUT THE RECIPE
Msemen is a beloved Moroccan buttery flatbread that is often enjoyed for breakfast or as a snack with a cup of Moroccan mint tea. It is also extremely popular during Ramadan.
Msemen is traditionally spread with butter, honey, jam, or cheese, though some Moroccans prefer to dip it in a sweet syrup made from melted butter and honey.
Its crunchy exterior and soft inside provide a one-of-a-kind texture that can only be found in this Moroccan treat, made from durum wheat based dough that has been carefully folded and rolled to paper thin perfection.
Special tools / ingredients: All ingredients are easily available in supermarkets or online stores.
