ABOUT THE RECIPE

Soups are an essential component of the Moroccan table. They are made all year around, but are especially popular during the month of Ramadan, since they are often the first dish eaten to break the fast and to replenish the body after a long day of fasting.

This pea soup is a delicious classic recipe that requires very few ingredients. Mainly, you will need peas (fresh or frozen), leeks, and water. Plus a little butter, salt, and pepper for flavor. Everything gets cooked in one pot, then blended, and the soup is ready to be enjoyed!
